This year’s conference amplifies a critical strategy for Nigeria’s democratic progress—placing grassroots women at the centre and soliciting men as allies for the movement for women’s political leadership Building on the momentum of past editions and the outcomes of nationwide engagements. VOW2025 will spotlight the power of grassroots mobilization and men allies as the strongest electoral force for change, outlining clear pathways to increase the number of women elected and appointed into governance and leadership at all levels.

VOW205 will host men, faith leaders, traditional rulers alongside women to further enhance a collaborative partnership of men as allies of women’s inclusion, success stories and best practices of women’s inclusion within Nigeria and the importance of partnerships in achieving a balanced and equitable Nigeria.

Through thought-provoking plenaries, solution-driven workshops, powerful storytelling, and strategic policy dialogues, VOW2025 will serve as a launchpad for collaborative actions between female political leaders, grassroots networks, men allies, civil society and institutional stakeholders toward the 2027 elections and beyond.
